About Travelinsure
Essential World Travel (Pty) Ltd trading as Travelinsure Travel Insurance were the first company in South Africa to introduce a comprehensive system where you can quote and buy travel insurance online enabling us to supply low cost, high quality, travel insurance cover. The founders noticed how convenient online travel insurance was for people living in the UK and so went about building and setting up a similar concept for South Africans.
How does the Online system work?

Customers can get an instant quote based on the actual number of days that they are travelling and the type of cover they require. They can then purchase a travel insurance policy with their credit card using our secure payment gateway facility. The result is a cheaper policy delivered directly and instantly to your email inbox. This paperless method of delivery allows us to cut the prices. The process is instant and easy meaning you can buy travel insurance at the last minute.

GENRIC Insurance Company Ltd is a short-term insurer duly authorised in accordance with the provisions of the Short-term Insurance Act no. 53 of 1998 and regulated by the Financial Services Board FSB (FSP: 43638).
